CARIBBEAN FRINGE

Happy Wednesday style lovers I am so happy to be home! Coming home from six days spent under the Caribbean sun and in the Caribbean sea has done a body good. Just a little peeling here and there, definitely nothing to fuss about. I touched down in Houston hours ago, just a little after midnight refreshed and recharged!

So I'm pretty sure that most women receive unsolicited monthly installments from magazines that sell women's clothing. Typically I do a quick browse and toss. In my mind I subconsciously reserved and  associated these type of magazines for the middle aged woman. Especially when I viewed the manual order form inside. Ha! However, since I had no luck looking for fun swimsuits and maxi dresses that offered what I call Caribbean flare I decided to browse a little further into the magazine about one week and a half before my trip and came across this dress in addition to a few swimsuits. Of course I had to have it for my trip!

The bright and colorful pattern had my name written all over it and then the bottom is completely shredded into fringe. Squeal, a fashionita has to style while in paradise. I wore this dress for a day of exploration. We drove the town and coast of Cayman to check out the additional beaches that the beautiful island has to offer. This dress was perfect because the material is perfectly thin but without transparency. The fabric hugged my curves and stayed in place. I love a dress that I can get around in and not have to constantly adjust.

I am wearing a small in this dress and it's perfect. Of course this dress is longer on me than pictured on the model but it still worked just fine. I along with my wannabe island girl ambitions felt so fabulous being a tourist in this dress. Accompanied with a high bun, bold lipstick, and a pair of fabulous shades of course! Ha! This dress was ordered from the Venus magazine. I ordered online and my items were shipped within 24 hours. That's pretty awesome for ordering online. I will definitely order online from this site again as I've had a great first time shopping experience. Upon further research, I learned that Venus also has a flagship store located in Jacksonville, FL the same city as their corporate office.

Although the summer season is coming to an end if you are looking to have one last summer hoorah moment or will be traveling to beach destinations, I highly recommend this dress for the bold and trendy fashionista! Otherwise this dress will not make a lot of sense in September or it could be preserved for next summer. Either way it's very fashionable and different enough to make a statement.
