Hello spring! Hooray for open toe season! Oh how much we have yearned for you only for you to tease us! Ha! Finally the spring weather is creeping its way back into Houston. Although she decided to come barring rain, wind and a little chill.
I won't dare complain or at least try not to because spring is essentially one of the shortest seasons we get here in Houston. We will soon be in a irritable blazing, sweaty, wickedly humid hot zone soon.
Today has been pleasant. Overcast and all. The sun has peaked at us occasionally. I decided to wear my oh so trendy shirt dress from gojane.com. I love it and I love this look. I have seen more in different colors but I most definitely am interested in a chambray colored shirt dress for the season.

I am also sporting these super cute fringe sandals that I won from gojane.com back in January as well. So happy that I can finally put them to use! There are still a few available in black and grey. That's all I have for now. Keep it fab style lovers! Look deets below.

Happy Monday! How are you? I don't know if it's the gloomy days past and present but I have been totally obsessed with black, grey, with a splash of leopard. It absolutely has to be the weather. I'm also crushing on statement tee shirts and the like.

Since I don't have to dress up everyday wearing a statement tee with a trendy pair of jeans or shoes satisfies me. Especially when running several errands. Then there's those moments when I am feeling totally uninspired. So when those moments happen the whole, grey, black or leopard is a good go to look.

So I purchased this cute little sweatshirt and jersey pencil skirt in H & M. My apologies as I  was not very successful in capturing a full picture of this top. A very flexible and easy look for everyday obligations. The fact that the skirt is a jersey knit is a plus as I can move freely. Obviously, I paired this look with a leopard clutch for a pop of style, I layered two statement necklaces and paired all with fun booties from my closet C/O DD's Discounts.

Since I pretty much run all of the errands for my household I try to stay conscious of how I look while doing so. I mean I could very easily throw on some leggings, sneakers, and basic tee but there is something different about actually getting a little stylish. Also it works well if you happen to have time to make it to other places such as lunch.

So with that being said there's never a reason to not express your style. The top and bottom look is under $25. So being stylish while running errands is totally realistic. Flats always on deck though! Ha! Keep it fab! XO
